The Ultimate Fighter 31: Team McGregor vs. Team Chandler is almost here. Conor McGregor, a former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion, and Michael Chandler, the No. 5 ranked lightweight contender, will compete against one another as coaches in the 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter, which may be the largest in the program's history.

Following the series, which exclusively premieres on ESPN on Tuesday, May 30, the two coaches will be ready to face off at a later time.

The dynamic cast of The Ultimate Fighter Season 31: Team McGregor vs. Team Chandler will include returning pros as well as up-and-coming fighters in the men's bantamweight (135 lbs.) and lightweight (155 lbs.) divisions who have sacrificed all else in order to achieve their UFC aspirations.

The Ultimate Fighter is the legendary reality television series that Lionsgate's Pilgrim Media Group produces.

It has presented future UFC champions and top contenders to millions of new and ardent fans. Julianna Pea, Kamaru Usman, Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans, Rose Namajunas, Michael Bisping, Robert Whittaker, Nate Diaz, Tony Ferguson, T.J. Dillashaw, Amanda Nunes, Matt Serra, Michael Chiesa, Al Iaquinta, Kelvin Gastelum, Uriah Hall, and many others are among those whose careers have been influenced by their involvement in The Ultimate Fighter.

McGregor, a former UFC double champion (22-6, competing out of Dublin, Ireland), is widely regarded as the biggest name in the sport and has previously worked as a coach for TUF 22.

He'll try to pass down the knowledge and abilities that helped him defeat previous UFC champions Eddie Alvarez, Jose Aldo, and Max Holloway. Now, McGregor is focused on defeating Chandler as a trainer and gaining momentum for their upcoming battle later in the year.

For his dynamic fighting style and alluring demeanour, Chandler (23-8, competing out of Nashville, Tennessee) is a favourite among fight fans. Chandler, who is no stranger to a highlight-reel finish, astounded spectators with sensational stoppages over Tony Ferguson and Dan Hooker. He now intends to defeat McGregor by having a successful TUF coaching season added to his résumé.
