The global MMA community is at shock after knowing about the departures of names like Eduard Folayang, Kevin Belingon and Joshua Pacio from Team Lakay.
Folayang initially announced his departure from the team last day and this was followed by Kevin Belingon today. While Joshua Pacio is yet to make his official announcement, reports have suggested that he has already left the team and a comment from Team Lakay head coach Mark Sangiao also suggested the same.
Honorio 'The Rock' Banario is another name that Sangiao noted in his comment meaning that he could also be on his way out of the Filipino Team.

Former UFC champion and current Bellator champion Cris Cyborg commented on the departures and termed it as an end of a dynasty in Filipino MMA.
“the end of a dynasty in Filipino MMA. Best of luck in wherever your next adventure takes you,” she noted under the comment section of the post from Kevin Belingon.
Cyborg also credited Mark Sangiao for building a legacy that is unmatched.
“Mark Sangiao what a great legacy of athletes you built!!” she commented.
For the uninitiated, Marquez Sangiao, a mixed martial fighter, started the team in 2003. Over the years, Team Lakay has produced a long list of champions. Kevin Belingon had won the ONE Flyweight and Bantamweight titles in the past.
Geje Eustaquiao is a former ONE Flyweight champion as well. Eduard Folayang is a former ONE Lightweight champion. Stephen Loman, meanwhile, was the longest reigning champion in BRAVE Combat Federation history.
Joshua Pacio was the ONE Strawweight champion when names like Edward Kelly, Danny Kingad and Jeremy Pacatiw also found great amount of success in their MMA outings. The team is also home to Gina Iniong and Jenelyn Olsim when it comes to female fighters.
