The campaign of Indian MMA fighters Sumit Kumar and Rana Rudra Pratap Singh ended in the opening round of Road to UFC Season 2.

Sumit Kumar suffered a decision loss at Flyweight

Sumit Kumar opened the proceedings for India in the Flyweight bracket as he went up against Road to UFC Veteran Seung Guk Choi of South Korea.

In an intense and fast-paced showdown, Sumit Kumar and Seung Guk Choi displayed unwavering determination and refused to back down. Kumar relentlessly executed takedowns with furious aggression, while Choi relentlessly pursued a knockout opportunity. However, it was Choi's superior technical performance that ultimately earned him the decision victory, showcasing his precision and skill throughout the fight.

Rana Rudra Pratap Singh suffered a stoppage loss

Rana Rudra Pratap Singh, who had earlier competed at ONE Warrior Series and BRAVE Combat Federation, suffered a stoppage loss in his fight. Rana went up against Chang Ho Lee of South Korea in the opening round.

Chang Ho Lee dominated the fight against Rana Rudra Pratap Singh from start to finish, employing a strategic takedown and showcasing his ground control skills. With relentless ground-and-pound strikes, Lee secured a TKO victory, leaving no room for his opponent to mount a counter-attack.
