ONE Championship Confirms Comeback Fight For Thai Megastar Stamp Fairtex

Stamp Fairtex is going back to her roots. The only fighter in ONE Championship history to hold World Titles in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA returns to striking competition at The Inner Circle on June 26, taking on Mexican challenger Cynthia Flores in an atomweight Muay Thai matchup live on live.onefc.com.

It is her first Muay Thai bout in six years, and for a fighter who began her journey in “the art of eight limbs” at the age of 5, the homecoming could not feel more significant.

The story of Stamp Fairtex is unlike anything the sport has ever seen. The 28-year-old from Pattaya, who trains out of Fairtex Training Center, first picked up Muay Thai gloves at the age of 5 and has been rewriting records ever since.

Stamp announced herself to the world by claiming the ONE Women's Atomweight Kickboxing World Title in her ONE debut, before doing one better in 2019 when she won the inaugural ONE Women's Atomweight Muay Thai World Title to become ONE's first-ever two-sport World Champion.

After conquering striking, she set her sights on MMA, eventually claiming the ONE Atomweight MMA World Championship before a knee injury forced her to relinquish the title. Now, carrying a 14-5 ONE record with six wins via finish and a 64-18 career record, she makes her long-awaited return to the art form that started it all.

For Flores, this is the opportunity of a lifetime. The 31-year-old Mexican carries a 25-7 career record into the contest and has endured a tough start to her ONE journey, suffering two losses in the promotion.

But stepping into the ring against a name as iconic as Stamp represents the perfect platform to announce herself in spectacular fashion, and she will arrive in Bangkok with nothing to lose and everything to gain.
