Shauna Bannon is an Irish MMA fighter and Kickboxer. Fighting out of Dublin, Ireland, Shauna turned into a professional MMA fighter in 2022 after an impressive run in the amateur MMA circuit.
The Amateur MMA run
Shauna started her Amateur MMA run back in 2019 when she fought at Cage Warriors: Academy Ireland 2. She started off with a win over Catherine McFadden via a TKO.
She then went on to compete at the IMMAF European MMA Championship where she exited soon after suffering a submission loss.
The Irish star, however, bounced back strongly after this and secured three back-to-back wins with two of them coming at the IMMAF World Championships. In the finals, she suffered a decision loss to Guangmei Han and had to settle for the silver medal.
A showdown against Dakota Ditcheva followed for Shauna at UK Fighting Championship 13 which ended in a decision loss. It proved to be her last amateur loss as she went on to secure five more wins in the amateur MMA circuit before turning professional.
The Professional debut and Invicta FC
Shauna made her professional MMA debut at Cage Legacy 15 in April 2022. The fight was against Kerry Isom and Shauna secured a quick TKO punch to make it a memorable debut.
Just a couple of months later, Shauna returned to Cage Legacy as she fought Chi Attoh at Cage Legacy 16. This time around, Shauna secured another TKO win making it 2-0 in her professional MMA career.
In the same year 2022, Shauna made her Invicta FC debut. She fought Nadia Vera at Invicta FC 49 and took home a decision victory. A rematch with Kerry Isom followed at Cage Legacy 18 which she won via a decision to keep intact her undefeated professional MMA record.
