Rodtang gets dominant win against Jiduo Yibu at ONE Fight Night 6

ONE Muay Thai Flyweight champion Rodtang returned to action at ONE Fight Night 6 against Jiduo Yibu in Bangkok, Thailand today.

Rodtang was dictating the pace of the fight from the starting bell. A couple of accidental groin strikes from Jiduo slowed down the fight in the first round itself. The same, however, had no impact on the momentum of Rodtang who was going for the finish whenever he got the opportunity to do so.

The Thai superstar dropped Jiduo in the last minute of the first-round and capped off a dominant performance in the round.

Rodtang busted open Jiduo in the second round and continued his good performance in the round leaving no room for Jiduo to come back. The showmanship of Rodtang was on full display in the third round as he was seen playing around with Jiduo who threw in some fun antics of his own. In the end, the judges scored the fight in favour of Rodtang via a decision. 

Reigning ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang came into the fight with title intentions. In an interview prior to the fight, Rodtang had noted that he wants a shot at the ONE Flyweight Kickboxing title after his fight at ONE Fight Night 6.

Interestingly, the ONE Flyweight Kickboxing title will be on the line at ONE Fight Night 6 when Superlek Kiatmoo9 will fight ultra-aggressive Spanish standout Daniel Puertas for the vacant ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Title.

The Thai superstar came into the fight on the back of his wins over Joseph Lasiri and Jacob Smith. Prior to this, he had suffered a loss to Demetrious Johnson in the special rules fight.

Jiduo Yibu, on the other hand, came into the fight on the back of a loss against Daniel Puertas back in February 2022.

Reigning ONE Featherweight champion Superbon Singha Mawynn versus Chingiz Allazov, the Grand Prix Champion and, will serve as the main event of ONE Fight Night 6.

The ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Title Match between Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Daniel Puertas and the ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Title Match between Mikey Musumeci and Gantumur Bayanduuren are also on the card.
