Indian MMA fighter Angad Bisht secured a dominant victory in the Road to UFC 3 Flyweight tournament by outclassing John Dave Almanza of the Philippines. Angad Bisht secured his spot in the flyweight semifinals by defeating John Dave Almanza in a dominant fashion. Despite Almanza's initial attempt to take control of the fight, Bisht's strength and power proved overwhelming for the 20-year-old Filipino. Bisht managed to take Almanza down to the canvas and transitioned into a crucifix position, from where he unleashed a barrage of strikes, leading to the referee stoppage.
With this victory, Bisht extends his winning streak to five fights, with the last four ending inside the distance. He now moves on to the next round, where he is set to face the undefeated South Korean Donghun Choi.
The flyweight tournament commenced with an exciting bout between last year's runner-up, Jiniushiyue, and undefeated South Korean prospect DongHun Choi.

Throughout the match, both fighters showcased their skills, exchanging strikes at a distance with impressive speed and variety. However, neither competitor was able to establish sustained dominance, resulting in a closely contested battle. Choi focused more on targeting Jiniushiyue's head and legs, while Jiniushiyue worked on attacking the body.
After the match went the distance, the judges rendered a split decision verdict in favor of Choi, allowing him to maintain his undefeated record and progress to the semifinals of the tournament.
