Japanese MMA veteran Rin Nakai isn't shying away from a challenge. She's declared her confidence in her ability to defeat top UFC fighters Valentina Shevchenko and Alexa Grasso. Nakai, who had a previous stint in the UFC's bantamweight division, took to social media to express her interest in returning to the Octagon after a string of impressive victories.

Despite her unsuccessful run in the UFC and her release in 2016, Nakai has been on a remarkable ten-fight winning streak. After witnessing the closely contested bout between Shevchenko and Grasso at UFC Fight Night 227, she didn't hesitate to make her intentions clear.

In a tweet, Nakai remarked, "It was a great, high-level fight worthy of a UFC title match. I saw something of value. I can beat these two. I'm the strongest in the world. If anyone can send me to UFC, please contact me."

This isn't the first time Nakai has targeted Shevchenko. During Deep-Jewels 40 in February, the former UFC flyweight champion suggested that Nakai should secure a spot in the top ten before pursuing a matchup with her.

While Shevchenko is no longer the reigning champion, Nakai has yet to receive an offer from the UFC. Her previous UFC record stands at 0-2, and at 36 years old, time may not be on her side. However, her remarkable ten-fight winning streak has left her with limited competition in Japan.
