The Professional Fighters League (PFL) announced Tuesday the appointment of Jaime Pollack as General Manager of PFL Latin America, effective immediately. Pollack will report to PFL International CEO Peter Murray and oversee the league’s regional expansion, including operations, media rights, talent development, and commercial strategy.
Pollack brings over 20 years of experience in global sports and media. He previously served as Senior Vice President of International Development and General Manager of Latin America at the UFC, where he led rapid growth across major markets including Brazil and Mexico. His career also includes senior roles at Amazon Web Services, Activision Blizzard, and Anthem Sports & Entertainment.
“Latin America is one of the most passionate and culturally rich fight markets in the world, and I’m honored to help lead the PFL’s next chapter in the region,” Pollack said in a statement. “We’re building a long-term, sustainable MMA ecosystem that develops homegrown stars, delivers world-class fight content, and gives Latin American fans something truly to call their own.”
While at the UFC, Pollack launched landmark media partnerships, led the creation of the UFC’s Latin American subscription network with Televisa, and produced the region’s first international edition of The Ultimate Fighter. His efforts contributed to record-breaking attendance, viewership, and licensing growth across Latin America.
“Jaime is one of the most respected and accomplished executives in international MMA,” said Murray. “His leadership, deep regional knowledge, and unmatched experience growing the sport in Latin America make him the ideal person to lead PFL LATAM into its next phase of explosive growth.”
Pollack’s appointment follows the successful launches of PFL Europe, PFL MENA, PFL Africa, and PFL Pacific. With an expanding global schedule and investment in regional talent pipelines, PFL Latin America is positioned to become a premier platform for MMA athletes across the region.
