I will be back: Joshua Pacio promises strong comeback after title loss

Joshua Pacio suffered a loss to Jarred Brooks at ONE 164 and eventually lost the ONE Strawweight title. Prior to this loss, Pacio had defended the title successfully on three occasions. However, the bout with Brooks proved to be a different story altogether.

Now, after the fight, Pacio has released a statement on his social media page and thanked his coaches, team and supporters.

“All Is Well. I just want to thank My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the Strength and Protection He has given me.

We didn’t get the Win last Saturday but I thank God I learned a lot and saw what to improve more as an athlete, what I love about this sport is it is a continuous learning and leveling up and that’s what I aim to do, I’ll be back stronger,smarter and more dangerous.

A rematch between Pacio and Brooks is expected to happen soon. Brooks himself has noted that he is ready to have a rematch with the Team Lakay star in USA.
