Jarred Brooks ready for a rematch with Joshua Pacio in United States

Following his outstanding performance against former long-time titleholder Joshua Pacio, Jarred Brooks has been named ONE's new strawweight champion. The Monkey God is aware that they will run into each other soon, though.

The 29-year-victory old's over Pacio at ONE Championship 164 by unanimous decision increased his unbeaten run inside the ring to four fights. Three of the top five candidates in the division have now been defeated by Brooks.

Speaking during the post-fight press conference, Brooks noted that he is open to a fight with Joshua Pacio in the United States.

"This isn’t the end with Joshua Pacio. We were just talking about it too. So, I would love to give him another chance in Denver in the United States. He can come to my home turf and we can see where it goes from there,” Brooks noted (h/t Sportskeeda)

Speaking further, Brooks noted that the fans are yet to see his full potential and that he has only scratched the surface of what he is able to do.

“I told you guys, it’s like 30 percent. It’s like less than what I’m capable of. It’s like finding the confidence and the ring time. That’s huge to me. I just got to make sure that I keep on building my confidence, building my hands, and building my wrestling,” he added.

Pacio was reigning on top of the ONE Strawweight division ahead of his battle with Brooks and it would only make sense for ONE Championship to have a rematch between the two soon.
