ECS 2: AKS Pandey vs Karan Mahto Trilogy and India vs Nepal headlines

Elite Contender Series (ECS 2) returns on June 27 at the Biswa Bangla Exhibition Centre in Kolkata, bringing together more than 100 amateur mixed martial artists from across India and Nepal for one of the country's largest grassroots MMA events.

Powered by Wellversed, ECS 2 will showcase rising talent from across the nation alongside athletes from Nepal, highlighting the continued growth of amateur mixed martial arts in South Asia.

The event is headlined by the highly anticipated bantamweight trilogy between AKS Pandey and Karan Mahto, with both fighters looking to settle one of the promotion's biggest rivalries.

In the co-main event, Nepal's Sunil Punn takes on India's Devgan Marandi in a featherweight contest that adds another chapter to the growing India vs Nepal rivalry in amateur MMA.

Beyond the featured bouts, the card features prospects representing multiple gyms and states, giving fans a glimpse at the next generation of Indian MMA talent.
