Masaaki Noiri Delivers Vicious Revenge, Blitzes Liu Mengyang In Round One

Fists flew. Bodies crumbled. The ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament quarterfinals turned explosive on Saturday, 8 August, at EBARA WAVE Arena Ota in Tokyo, Japan, as three fierce battles decided who would march on toward the semifinals and a shot at gold.

Two years of frustration boiled over in an instant. Masaaki Noiri stalked Liu Mengyang, traded thunder at close range, then detonated a right hand and left hook that folded the Chinese star to the canvas, unable to beat the count, avenging his December 2024 defeat and improving to 52-14.

Then came the trap, patient and precise. Kaito surged forward hunting an early finish, but Mohammad Siasarani calmly read every movement, feinted a left kick, and unleashed a fight-ending strike that crumpled his rival in the opening round, remaining unbeaten in ONE kickboxing.

Takagi came out firing, testing Luo Chao early with heavy kicks and knees, and for two rounds the Japanese debutant held the edge. Then the Chinese veteran erupted, unloading a punishing punch barrage in round three to snatch the decision and set up a semifinal date with Marat Grigorian.

The dust has settled, but the war isn't over. Noiri collides with Siasarani next, while Luo braces for Grigorian, both one victory from the final and a shot at Superbon's ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title later this year, when the tournament reaches its conclusion.
