22 May at Lumpinee Stadium. Two cards. Seven fights worth talking about. The Inner Circle opened the night's business, and Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri closed it in style — edging unbeaten Russian Kiamran Nabati by split decision in a bantamweight Muay Thai war to win his first bout as an official ONE Championship roster member.
Nabati attacked relentlessly. Knees, elbows, clinch control — he brought everything. Yod-IQ absorbed it, returned it, and in the third round imposed his own will with the composure of a man who had been here before. Ten straight wins. Record: 127-36. The Thai calls himself the Russian Slayer. The result backed it up.
Liu "Spirit Dragon" Mengyang needed just one performance to state his case. The 23-year-old Chinese kickboxer picked apart Brazil's Gabriel Pereira with precision and intelligence across three featherweight rounds, earning the unanimous decision and cementing his reputation as the next challenger for ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon. Record: 36-7.
Freddie Haggerty is 21 years old, 24-5, and — as of 22 May — ahead on points in a family rivalry with his older brother Jonathan. The Londoner outworked teenage French-Thai sensation Yonis Anane via unanimous decision in strawweight Muay Thai. In the Haggerty household, the conversation just got interesting.
Vero "The Kayan Leopard" swept past former K-1 Champion Kana for a fourth straight unanimous decision win at 31-4 in atomweight kickboxing. Minutes later, Viet Anh Do finished Kyungjung Kim with a right push kick TKO at 2:17 of round two — staying 5-0 with all finishes and earning a US$100,000 contract.
Decho Mavinn Muaythai had a plan — smother Rustam Yunusov in the clinch and drain the teenager's energy. It worked for two rounds. In the third, Yunusov fought back with a barrage of combinations that settled the matter at 17-0. Nineteen years old. Still undefeated. Still improving.
Panpayak Jitmuangnon is 251-44 and still one of the sharpest minds in kickboxing. He dismantled Othman Rhouni's unorthodox attack with his trademark left kick across three bantamweight rounds, claiming the split decision he needed and reminding the division that his experience remains a weapon.
