ONE Championship has announced three additional bouts for ONE Fight Night 43, set to take place on May 16 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The promotion has added a flyweight Muay Thai matchup, a bantamweight MMA showdown, and a featherweight kickboxing clash to an already loaded card headlined by a ONE Featherweight MMA World Championship bout between kingpin Tang Kai and challenger Shamil Gasanov.
Uzbek phenom Aslamjon Ortikov puts his perfect record on the line when he takes on Colombia's Jordan Estupinan in flyweight Muay Thai. Ortikov arrives as one of the most exciting unbeaten stars in the sport, boasting a flawless 23-0 career record and a 9-0 ONE slate, with four of those wins coming via finish.
Standing in his way is another 23-year-old southpaw in Estupinan. The Colombian carries a 9-1 career striking record and a 2-1 ONE run into the contest.
The bantamweight MMA division serves up a mouthwatering clash between Indonesia's Eko Roni Saputra and Filipino fan favorite Lito Adiwang. Saputra, a 34-year-old Indonesian National Wrestling Champion, announced himself to the world in stunning fashion by winning seven of his first eight ONE fights, all via finish. A string of losses then derailed his momentum, but the all-round grappler arrives in Bangkok determined to recapture his best form.
Adiwang, however, will not make that easy. The 33-year-old Filipino brings a 17-6 MMA record and a 10-4 promotional record into the bout, with six of those wins coming via finish.
Rounding out the new additions is a featherweight kickboxing matchup between China’s Luo Chao and Brazil’s Denis Souza Jr.
