Denice “The Menace” Zamboanga, despite her World Title match against Stamp Fairtex being called off, is still set to showcase her skills on June 7 at ONE 167: Tawanchai vs. Nattawut II on Prime Video in U.S. primetime.

Originally, Zamboanga was gearing up to challenge Stamp Fairtex for the ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Title at Bangkok’s Impact Arena. However, with Stamp encountering a serious knee injury and undergoing surgery, their bout has been scrapped.

Nevertheless, Zamboanga’s journey continues as she faces Noelle “Lil’ Monkey” Grandjean in an atomweight MMA clash filled with anticipation.

Ranked #2 in the competitive division, “The Menace” earned her title shot with impressive victories over Lin Heqin and Julie Mezabarba. Known for her well-rounded skills and knack for securing submission finishes, Zamboanga’s style promises an exciting matchup against Grandjean, who brings elite judo expertise to the cage.

Grandjean, of Thai-French descent, entered ONE Championship with an undefeated record and high expectations. Despite encountering ups and downs in her four bouts, she has shown enough potential to compete at the top level.

A victory over Zamboanga could propel Grandjean up the atomweight MMA rankings, positioning her as a future title contender.

For Zamboanga, the stakes are high as she aims to maintain her status as a top contender in the division and secure her path to a World Title opportunity.
