In the world of combat sports, it’s rare for two elite-level fighters to cross paths as many times as Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Panpayak Jitmuangnon have.
Superlek and Panpayak will meet for a whopping eighth time in the co-main event at ONE 164: Pacio vs. Brooks on 3 December for the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix Championship.
The winner of this explosive finale will earn the tournament silver belt and a shot ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champ Rodtang Jitmuangnon, who just defeated Joseph Lasiri this past weekend at ONE Fight Night 4 to continue his reign.

The history between Superlek and Panpayak is extensive. Of the seven meetings the duo have partaken in, Panpayak has emerged victorious four times, while Superlek has tasted two wins. One battle ended in a no-contest.
Moreover, it was Superlek who scored the most recent victory, taking the win at ONE: NO SURRENDER in 2020.
Despite facing each other seven times already, neither has managed to finish the other – yet. Because all the marbles are on the line in December, we could see a different outcome in this titanic clash for the silver belt.
Superlek was the first of the duo to punch his ticket into the World Grand Prix Final after a first-round dismissal of Brazil’s Walter Goncalves in the semifinals earlier this year.

Fortune favored Panpayak on the same night in the other semifinal pairing, however, as he filled in for Rodtang against Savvas Michael, who he knocked out with a second-round head kick, setting up the next chapter of this infamous rivalry.
