Ok Rae Yoon Seeks Redemption As ONE Fight Night 44 Card Stacks Up

ONE Championship has revealed seven additional bouts for ONE Fight Night 44, taking place on June 27 from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

With the main event between George Jarvis and Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong already locked in, the card now boasts eight bouts across MMA, Muay Thai, and kickboxing.

Former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion Ok Rae Yoon makes his return in one of the most eagerly anticipated matchups on the card, taking on Brazil's Lucas Gabriel in a lightweight MMA contest.

The 35-year-old South Korean carries a 4-2 ONE record into the bout, while Gabriel arrives undefeated in the promotion with four wins, setting up a fascinating clash of experience against momentum.

Elsewhere on the card, Nakrob Fairtex, 27, makes his return after a string of recent setbacks, drawing on the experience of a 10-5 ONE record and a 69-25 career record. Standing across from him will be England's Jacob Smith, 33, who makes his long-awaited comeback.

Smith carries 16 career wins and the distinction of having battled former ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon to the limit on two occasions, a testament to his toughness and heart inside the ring. In the second bantamweight Muay Thai contest, Ferrari Fairtex collides with Japan's Shinji Suzuki in what promises to be a barnburner under the Lumpinee lights.

The flyweight kickboxing division serves up a mouth-watering matchup between Azerbaijani phenom Akif Guluzada and Colombia's Johan Estupinan. Guluzada, just 20 years old, arrives undefeated in the promotion with five wins against tough opposition, stepping into only his second ONE kickboxing outing with a 20-3 career record behind him.

Estupinan, 23, makes his first kickboxing appearance under the ONE banner, having won five consecutive bouts since his ONE debut before back-to-back losses last year dented his momentum.
