Indian MMA Fighter Nazareth Lalthazuala Makes Huge ONE Debut With 17-Second KO

Indian MMA prospect Nazareth Lalthazuala made a dream debut at ONE Friday Fights 135, delivering one of the fastest knockouts of the night. The Mizoram-based athlete stopped Japan’s Masaki Suzuki in just 16 seconds of the first round, announcing his arrival on one of the world’s biggest combat sports platforms in dominant fashion.

Fighting at the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Nazareth displayed exceptional composure and confidence for his first appearance under the ONE Championship banner. With this victory, he improves his professional record to 6-0, including three wins by stoppage.

Nazareth's journey has been remarkable since turning professional in late 2024. He started with a unanimous decision win against Farouk Ogwal at the Rising Warriors Charity Event. In January 2025, he delivered his first finish with a TKO over Wahedullah Sediqi (1:53 R1) at Warriors Dream Series 10. He secured another decision win against Jeko Laishram at SCFC 2, followed by a 16-second knockout of Millenium Kumar at Ronin FC 1. His strategic fighting ability was seen next with a unanimous decision over Saurabh Negi in August.

However, his performance at ONE Friday Fights 135 stands out as the biggest milestone of his career. Competing for the first time on an international stage, Nazareth proved that Indian fighters are ready to compete globally at the highest level.
