Jake Paul is planning to knockout UFC legend Nate Diaz.

On August 5th, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, an eagerly anticipated boxing match between Paul and Diaz will take place. This will be Diaz's first fight since departing from the UFC, and the former Disney Channel star is confident that the octagon star is in for a world of pain in his boxing debut. Paul, fueled by a strong sense of determination, predicts that he will show people his true capabilities and prove himself once again.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, Paul expressed his motivation.

“I have the biggest chip on my shoulder, the biggest chip on both shoulders, coming back with a vengeance, refilled with that hunger that I had in the beginning of the sport to prove to people what I was capable of. The lion lost, I retreated back into the jungle, I took notes of everything, I got better, I trained, and now this lion is going to come out and maul this dude. He’s going to have to pay for all this hard work, all the sacrifice I’ve made during this camp. I promise, I’m going to be the first person to stop him on Aug. 5. 100 percent, he’s going to sleep,” he said in the interview.

Paul firmly believes that Diaz will have to pay for all the hard work and sacrifices he has made during his training camp. He confidently pledges to be the first person to defeat Diaz decisively on August 5th, assuring that his opponent will be left unconscious.

Although Diaz has been stopped in MMA before, he has never been knocked out cold. Paul's boxing career, on the other hand, has been characterized by brutal finishes of former MMA fighters such as Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. However, Paul did recently suffer his first boxing loss, a split decision defeat to Tommy Fury in their heated rivalry match in February.

Paul reflects on his loss to Fury, stating that it has made him a better fighter. He confidently asserts that Diaz is in for a rude awakening when he witnesses Paul's speed, power, and skill inside the ring and realizes he can't land a clean hit. According to Paul, this frustration will be the moment when Diaz realizes his mistake and understands that he is about to be humiliated. Paul emphasizes the distinction between a UFC champion and a highly skilled boxer like himself, firmly believing that his fists will do all the talking.
