Indian MMA star Mohammed Farhad feels that he is ready for a world title fight. Farhad noted the same ahead of his showdown at BRAVE CF 66 against Ruel Panales.

Talking exclusively to LockerRoom India, Farhad said that he is interested in going for the BRAVE CF Bantamweight title if he gets a win in Bali.

“I personally believe is that it is time for me to do a championship fight right now and I'm very much ready to do that and very much positive you know physically and mentally so I think I should get a shot next,” Farhad said.

The Indian has been part of BRAVE Combat Federation since BRAVE CF 1 and has produced some memorable finishes during his run. The BRAVE CF Bantamweight division, meanwhile, is being ruled by Brad Katona.

Katona captured the title with a win over Hamza Kooheji earlier this year in Bahrain and had one title defence as well. Comparing himself to  Katona, Farhad feels that he has what it takes to take out the champion.

“I think he's a very smart fighter Brad Kortona and what I believe is that I can take him. That is what I believe, he don't stand a chance against me. He's a strong guy I'm not underestimating him. I'll really train really hard. Once I get the shot and you know you'll get to see,” Farhad noted in the interview.

Coming off a loss against Maysara Mohamed, Farhad is 4-2 in the promotion and has a professional MMA record of 12-4 to his name. The Indian recently received praise from BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid as well who tagged Farhad as the biggest MMA star from India.
