Mohammed "The Hawk" Shahid, the president of the BRAVE Combat Federation, has praised Mohammad "Sher-e-Hind" Farhad for his contributions to MMA in India. Speaking ahead of this Saturday's BRAVE CF 66 event in Bali, Indonesia, Shahid praised "Sher-e-Hind" for how he has developed over the years while also contributing to the sport of mixed martial arts in his native country.
Over the years, Mixed Martial Arts has grown significantly in popularity in India, where more and more competitions are being staged. Shahid has praised Farhad's influence, who is back in action at BRAVE CF 66 taking on Ruel Panales.
‘’Mohammed Farhad is the biggest star in Indian MMA. He has seen it all. He was there when I was still fighting. Farhad is now an international fighter with a lot of experience. At BRAVE Combat Federation, we are proud to have followed him on his journey from a young athlete to a family man. Now, he is an Indian MMA icon and one of the top Bantamweights in the world,” said the BRAVE CF President.
With eleven of his twelve victories coming by way of KO/TKO stoppages, "Sher-e-Hind" never fails to amuse. At BRAVE CF 66, the Indian fighter Farhad competes in a Bantamweight match against Filipino fighter Ruel Panales. Farhad has an impressive record of 12 victories and four losses.

After suffering a discouraging loss to Egypt's Maysara Mohamed at BRAVE CF 57, he hopes to resume his quest for the BRAVE CF 135-pound championship. Prior to it, he had a three-fight winning streak, two of which were finishes, in the most well-known MMA promotion, BRAVE CF.
Farhad might advance in his career and go closer to the coveted BRAVE CF Bantamweight title with a victory over Panales. But it won't be a simple task. In his BRAVE CF debut, Panales, who is coached by former BRAVE CF veteran Rolando Dy, will look to dethrone his formidable Indian foe and establish himself as the new face of Filipino mixed martial arts.
Panales is the centre of attention because he enters BRAVE CF unblemished and on a five-fight winning streak. Dy serving as his mentor and coach further heightens the attractiveness of Panales. Farhad is eager to dismantle the Panales marketing machine and raise the Indian flag in the BRAVE Combat Federation once more.
