MFN 10: Atabek Abdimitalipov vs Sanjeet Budhwar set for Featherweight Title

The second title fight for MFN 10 has been announced by Matrix Fight Night. India’s Sanjeet Budhwar will be fighting Atabek Abdimitalipov of Kyrgyzstan for the Featherweight title at the event which happens in Dubai.

Sanjeet has been a mainstay in Matrix Fight Night for a long time now and holds a professional MMA record of 8-2 to his name. Sanjeet made his promotional debut at Matrix Fight Night 2 after a run in the Super Fight League where he was undefeated.

Sanjeet was undefeated in SFL with four wins and suffered his first career loss when he fought Anshul Jubli at MFN 2. Sanjeet then bounced back strongly and improved his promotional record to 4-2 picking up four wins.

Hailing from Haryana, Sanjeet got the wins against Shyamanand, Chaitanya Gavali, Dhruv Chaudhary and Dorde Stojanovic. His second loss in MFN came against Jacky Gahlot at MFN 6.

He will be looking to extend his current two-fight winning streak and capture the MFN Featherweight title when he fights Atabek at MFN 10 in Dubai.

As for Atabek, he holds a record of 4-1 to his name. He started his career on the back of a four-fight winning streak and fought at Heroes of the Arena 2, Hardknox Fight Night and UAE Warriors. In his last fight, Atabek suffered his first career loss. He suffered a decision loss against Abu Muslim Alikhanov at UAE Warriors back in 2021. This will be the promotional debut for Atabek in MFN.

Earlier, MFN had announced the women’s Strawweight title fight between Puja Tomar and Bi Nguyen as well. Apart from these two, the event will also feature two more title fights including an India vs. Pakistan showdown for the MFN Bantamweight title.
