Ailin Perez has made a promise to footballing superstar Lionel Messi. The UFC star who recently secured a huge win over Ashlee Evans Smith at UFC Vegas 77, has noted that she plans to become a UFC champion.

She also noted that she will take the country of Argentina up just like Lionel Messi has done through his footballing career.

"Messi, Ailín Perez exists and will be the champion, as you took the country up, I'm going to take it, write it down. Ailín Perez exists, my son loves you and wants to meet you,” Ailin noted.

Ailin secured her first UFC win at UFC Vegas 77 and made a record as well for the most takedowns in a single fight in the UFC Women’s Bantamweight division. The Argentine fighter also made headlines for her celebrations after the win and is looking forward to her next outing in the UFC.

She has already exchanged words with Norma Dumont who also was on the winning side at UFC Vegas 77 as she got a win over Chelsea Chandler.

As for Lionel Messi, the Argentine footballer has switched clubs to Inter Miami after his run in PSG.

Lionel Messi, the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner, was formally introduced as the newest member of Inter Miami after signing a lucrative two-and-a-half-year contract. The highly anticipated unveiling took place at a sold-out event held at Inter Miami's DRV PNK Stadium on Sunday.

Excitement is building as Messi prepares to make his debut for the club's Herons squad in a match against Mexican team Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup on July 21. The anticipation surrounding his first appearance has sparked a frenzy among fans, leading to discussions about skyrocketing ticket prices as supporters scramble to witness the football maestro in action.
