Liam Harrison, a British superstar in the world of Muay Thai, recently attended ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III as a spectator. The event marked the first time that ONE Championship held a show in the United States, and Harrison had front-row seats to witness the action at Colorado's 1stBank Center.

Despite not being able to compete in the event, the Leeds legend made his presence felt by making media rounds and talking about his potential fight against fellow Brit Jonathan Haggerty. Haggerty, who recently won the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title over Nong-O Hama, called Harrison out for a potential match-up. The interest in the fight has been immense, but Haggerty's comments on social media that Harrison was "the easiest fight in the division" have left the "Hitman" wanting to prove him wrong.

The potential fight between the two British fighters has garnered attention not only in the UK but globally as well. However, there is still a lot of work to be done before the match becomes a reality. Harrison is currently recovering from knee surgery and hopes to return to the ring later this year. If Haggerty keeps his gold around his waist, the match could happen sometime in early 2024 in London.

Speaking about the potential fight, Harrison noted that he wants to stop Haggerty.

“Obviously, I want the fight to happen, it needs to happen in England, and it needs to be for the belt. He needs to keep hold of that belt over his next couple of fights because he’s going to have some tough fights. I need to come back, win a fight, and get back into contention.

“I’m hoping to be back in the ring by October. I know it’ll take time to build a show in the UK, so if the show in the UK was at the start of next year, maybe February or March, that would be unbelievable,” he said in an interview with ONE Championship.

The event marked a historic moment for ONE Championship, and Harrison was grateful to be there to witness it firsthand.
