Khabib Nurmagomedov Condemns Moscow Terror Attacks, Expresses Condolences

Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, known widely as 'The Eagle,' has once again used his platform to speak out against the recent terror attacks that shook Moscow. The decorated combat athlete, who has always been vocal about issues affecting his homeland, took to social media to express his outrage and condolences following the devastating incident.

In a strongly worded message shared on Instagram, Nurmagomedov extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, denouncing the cowardly act of violence perpetrated in the heart of his beloved country. He stated:

“I express my sincere condolences to the families of those killed in Moscow. This is a very big tragedy, take care of yourself and your loved ones. People are NOT capable of this, this is the work of non-humans, everyone will answer for their nasty and vile act.”

Reports indicate that the terror attack, which occurred at a major concert venue complex outside Moscow, resulted in the loss of at least 60 lives, with 145 others sustaining injuries. The assailants reportedly employed incendiary devices and weapons, causing chaos and devastation among concert-goers.

The ISIS-affiliated news agency Amaq claimed responsibility for the attack in a brief statement released on Telegram shortly after the incident. However, no concrete evidence has been provided to substantiate the claim.

The timing of the attack, coming less than a week after President Vladimir Putin secured another term in office through a heavily scrutinized election, casts a somber shadow over the nation's recent political landscape. The scale of the assault marks one of the most significant terror incidents in Moscow in decades, overshadowing the recent electoral victory and highlighting the ongoing security challenges facing the country.
