PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to join hands with Khabib for PSG MMA Team

Paris Saint-German CEO and President Nasser Al-Khelaifi are reportedly set to join hands with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Ali Abdelaziz for a new team called PSG MMA.

This is as per MMA Factory fighter Abou Bathily. Abou tweeted about the same last day.

“According to my sources a new team will be emerging soon, the "PSG MMA" with @AliAbdelaziz00, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, @TeamKhabib and many more like,” the tweet from Abou read.

Further details of the project are yet to be revealed and the project is still not confirmed by the parties that are mentioned. However, it is expected to feature fighters from Dagestan.

Khabib, is a huge football fan and has been seen with a long list of footballers including Cristiano Ronaldo who recently moved to Saudi Arabia.

As for Nasser, he took up the reins of Paris Saint-German back in 2011.

He announced a five-year plan to elevate Paris Saint-Germain to the top of the tree in France and beyond not long after being elected president. Al-Khelaifi appointed former footballer Leonardo as the new director of football as part of the club's long-term strategy

Despite Al-initial Khelaifi's demand for a significant trophy haul for the 2011–12 campaign, PSG was only able to spend $130 million on players after losing in the UEFA Europa League and both domestic cups. Although finishing second, PSG was unable to dominate and fell to eventual champion Montpellier. They did, however, qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Since then, PSG has emerged as a huge club in Europe has secured some big names like Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe among others.

Apart from his ventures in PSG. Nasser is also the chairman of the beIN Media group and the chairman of Qatar Sports Investments.
