Khabib Nurmagomedov is not in the top five list of Dana White. The UFC President was asked about the all-time top five UFC fighters in his recent interview with GQ Sports and the UFC Supremo surprisingly, left out Khabib Nurmagomedov while including Conor McGregor in the list.
In fact, Dana even went on to mention Kamaru Usman as a special mention along with the names like Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, Ronda Rousey, Conor McGregor and Georges St. Pierre.
“Jon Jones, Anderson Silva Ronda Rousey, Conor McGregor, GSP. There are so many other people that should be on, Usman should be on there,” Dana said.
Early retirement?
Dana has been vocal about the early retirement of Khabib Nurmagomedov in the past as well and in the same interview, he noted that Khabib cannot be considered in the Greatest of All Time discussion due to the fact that he retired early.

The UFC President noted that Khabib retired in his prime and that he tried to bring back the Russian MMA superstar multiple times.
As for Dana White’s list, all the five fighters that he mentioned had a significant impact in UFC history. Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor were two of the most iconic mainstream names on the UFC roster which brought in pay-per-view sales and media attention.

Georges St. Pierre, Anderson Silva and Jon Jones were dominant champions with GSP winning titles in two-division just like Conor McGregor. Kamaru Usman, on the other hand, is reigning on top of the UFC Welterweight division currently and is expected to surpass the records of GSP if he continues his run in the company.
