VIDEO: Jon Jones wrestles with female wrestling star Kennedy Blades

Jon Jones is all set to make his UFC return this weekend at UFC 285 when he fights Ciryl Gane for the UFC Heavyweight title. But before that, the former UFC champion took some time out to wrestle with wrestling star Kennedy Blades.

Interestingly, Jones was giving no room for Blades during the fun showdown and even went for the leg lock in the middle of the showdown.

The video was posted by Blades on her Instagram page and at the end of the video, she can be seen lifting the hands of Jones who had a dominant show.

According to the USA Wrestling Association, Blades is one of the most exciting prospects in women's wrestling. Blades, who is 19 years old and the No. 2 68kg wrestler in the world, won the gold medal in the 2021 Junior World Championships. At the age of just 17, she also placed second in the US Olympic teams trials. You can see the video below.

UFC 285 awaits Jon Jones

Jones is presently getting ready to make a splash inside the Octagon of the UFC with his heavyweight debut. In the main event of UFC 285, he will compete against Ciryl Gane for the vacant UFC heavyweight championship.

Jones hasn't competed since defeating Dominick Reyes in February 2020 to successfully defend his 205-pound title. Since then, contract negotiations about Jones' move up to heavyweight have caused tension between him and the UFC. The agreement to have Jones headlining the March 4 card suggests that those problems have since been resolved.
