Rodtang to be the highest paid Muay Thai fighter as per Chatri Sityodtong

ONE Championship star Rodtang is set to be the highest-paid Muay-Thai Fighter as he is set to earn US$300,000 per fight as per ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong. The amount equals to 10 million baht.

This comes on the back of Rodtang agreeing to a new deal with the Singapore-based promotion. The news was revealed by Chatri Sityodtong during his interview with SCMP MMA.

“Rodtang will earn US$300,000 per fight, It’s the highest [pay] in the world for Muay Thai by a huge margin,” Chatri noted in the interview.

In ONE Championship's highly anticipated US debut in Denver, it was "The Iron Man" who stole the spotlight. Displaying his immense talent, he delivered a devastating second-round knockout of Edgar Tabares, leaving the audience in awe.

Such an extraordinary performance did not go unnoticed, as "The Iron Man" was awarded an astonishing US$100,000 performance bonus.

The 25-year-old has more than 300 Muay Thai fights on his resume with more than 270 recorded wins. He is currently reigning on top of the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai division and has five successful title defences to his name.

It was in 2018 that he made his debut in ONE Championship and since then, Rodtang has been a force to reckon with. He also holds the record for the most decision wins in ONE Championship and is also the owner of the longest winning streak in ONE Championship.

Prior to winning the title in ONE Championship, Rodtang had also won titles in Max Muay Thai, Omnoi Stadium, and Rajadamnern Stadium as well.
