Indian MMA fighter Govind Singh is all set to fight Rama Supandhi of Indonesia at ONE Pride 69. The event is set to happen on 10 June 2023 and the fight will happen at the Flyweight category.
Govind, fighting out of KOI Combat Academy in Bangalore, will be coming into the fight on the back of his ONE Warrior’s Series outing where he had suffered a TKO loss. The Indian will be looking to bounce back and put on a good show at the event.
Prior to his loss at ONE Warrior’s Series, Govind was on a four-fight winning streak having won at Kumite 1 League, Super Fight League and Bodyforce MMA. He has been part of the Indian MMA circuit for a long time now having competed since 2013. He also holds a win over Hamad Faisal at KHK Fight Night in Bahrain.
Meanwhile, Rama Supandhi comes into the fight on the back of his loss at Road to UFC 1. Rama suffered a loss to Seung Guk Choi at Road to UFC 1 and before this, he was on a two-fight winning streak in ONE Pride MMA. Rama has been a mainstay in ONE Pride MMA having spent most part of his career in the promotion.
He currently holds a record of 8-4 to his name and has most of his wins via submission.
Another exciting title fight features Dwi Retno and Anggie Mandagi in a Women's Strawweight showdown, as they battle it out for championship glory. The lightweight division will witness a clash between Angga and M Hanwa, with the title on the line, adding another layer of intensity to the event. In the Strawweight division, Brando Mamana and Dedi Priyanto will square off in a semifinal contender bout, aiming to secure their spot in the title contention.
The Atomweight division will see Yearmie Moude Lee and Freddy Lai Billy compete in the final contender matchup, while Santoso and Aditya Ginting will vie for the same opportunity in the Flyweight division. Lastly, Inandya Citra and Khoirul Fauziah will engage in a final contender battle in the Women's Strawweight division
