Erko Jun, the latest addition to the BRAVE Combat Federation Light Heavyweight stable, seeks the pleasure of stepping back into the BRAVE CF cage after his devastating finish against Slovenia's Marko Drmonjic at BRAVE CF 70 / WFC 25 this past weekend.
Jun made his BRAVE CF debut this past Sunday in Ljubljana, introducing himself to world MMA in dramatic manner with a round-one technical knockout over Central Europe's MMA veteran.
Jun was riding a two-bout victory run heading into his first BRAVE CF fight, earning a total of five knockouts in five wins, and now continues to improve in leaps and bounds in his early career. The former world champion bodybuilder only recently moved to professional MMA, with his debut fight taking place in 2018.
Since then, 'The Bounty Hunter' has competed in numerous memorable battles, including one against Poland's seasoned Heavyweight star, Mariusz Pudzianowski (17-9-0 NC 1), in only his fourth fight. Jun took full advantage of his shot at BRAVE CF 70 / WFC 25 and is not looking back after feeling the electric atmosphere of the BRAVE CF cage.
Here is what he had to say.
“I want to move forward, climb the ladder, get better opponents, and build my career. I am still fresh in this game and in my career, but also have racked up some good experience,” says Jun.
“Every day and every year, things are getting better. I am improving as a fighter while sparring and working with high-level guys. I want to build my legacy. I want my name to be remembered and to prove everybody wrong,” says Jun, who trains with BRAVE CF Super Lightweight number-one contender Joilton Lutterbach at the renowned UFD gym in Dusseldorf.
“It excites me to show people what I am capable of, to prove them wrong. I came from a different sport, and many people doubted me,” says the former fitness model and body-building star.
“Even Marko once said he thought I was not serious about this. But look now, here I stand before you, fresh off of a victory in the main event of the most-global MMA promotion - BRAVE Combat Federation! Mark my words, I will continue on this path, and people will know my name. To BRAVE Combat Federation, you know where to contact me. I will be ready. If BRAVE CF comes back to Europe, and I think it’s going to happen soon, then I would love to be on that card,” added Jun.
