UFC 319: Dricus Du Plessis vs. Khamzat Chimaev Set for Championship Showdown

Du Plessis vs. Chimaev is set to air live in Asia on Sunday, Aug. 17, from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The prelims begin at 6 a.m. (Hong Kong), followed by the main card at 10 a.m. All athletes successfully weighed in ahead of fight night.

Reigning middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis is prepared to defend his title, stating, “There’s no man that can break me,” as he looks to continue his dominant run at UFC 319.

Undefeated contender Khamzat Chimaev is ready for his long-awaited title opportunity, declaring that “the time is now” after five years in the UFC.

In the co-main event, English featherweight Lerone Murphy plans to welcome newcomer Aaron Pico to the UFC, aiming to use the bout to propel himself into title contention later this year. Pico, meanwhile, makes his first trip to the Octagon with hopes of entering the division’s title picture immediately.
