Maja and Domen Drnovšek Achieve Historic Double Victory at BRAVE CF 106

Nearly a week after BRAVE CF 106 took place at Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana, Slovenia, the event continues to be remembered for its championship outcomes and a milestone achievement in mixed martial arts.

The June 6 card featured major developments in two title divisions.

In the main event, Pavel “The Experiment” Dailidko successfully defended the BRAVE CF Heavyweight World Championship with a stoppage victory over Slovenia’s Miha Frlic.

In the co-main event, Mohamed “L'Ambiance” Said Maalem defeated Erko “The Bounty Hunter” Jun in their rematch to capture the BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight World Championship.

However, one of the most notable stories of the evening came from the supporting card, where Maja and Domen Drnovšek became the first married couple in mixed martial arts history to both compete and win on the same event card.

Maja secured a first-round submission victory over Poland’s Wiktoria Wojciechowska in their women’s flyweight bout, finishing the contest with an arm-triangle choke.

Later in the evening, Domen faced Hungary’s István “Assassin” Juhász in a 73-kilogram catchweight bout. After three rounds, he earned a unanimous decision victory.

The two victories completed a milestone that had previously eluded the Slovenian couple.

The Drnovšeks have described themselves as “partners in life, teammates in battle,” reflecting a relationship built around years of shared martial arts training and competition.

They previously made history at BRAVE CF 102 in November 2025 by becoming the first married couple to compete on the same BRAVE CF event.

On that occasion, Maja won her professional debut against Ghita Chafik, while Domen’s bout against Lucian Dragomir was ruled a no-contest following an accidental eye poke.

As a result, the couple left that event without achieving a shared victory.

At BRAVE CF 106, they completed that objective, recording victories in separate bouts on the same card.

Their achievement added a unique chapter to the event and marked a rare accomplishment in a sport traditionally defined by individual success.
