Former UFC and WWE commentator Jimmy Smith has openly criticized Ronda Rousey following her recent comments about her MMA career and transition to professional wrestling.

Rousey, 37, has reemerged in the spotlight due to the release of her new book, which revisits her career and the reasons behind her departure from MMA after suffering high-profile losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes.

Smith, known for his candid analysis, expressed strong disapproval of Rousey's remarks during an episode of Unlocking the Cage. "One of the things I’ve always said about God, he gets all the credit, none of the blame. That’s what Ronda Rousey wants," Smith stated. "All the credit, none of the blame. I want credit for all my wins, my losses, I had CTE and all this and all that. I’m the greatest to ever do it. But when it didn’t work, it was so, and so, and so and so, and never me."

The seasoned commentator emphasized Rousey's refusal to acknowledge her defeats and give credit to her opponents. Smith particularly took issue with Rousey attributing her move to WWE to concussion concerns. "The idea that I left MMA and went to the WWE because I had concussion problems makes no sense," Smith remarked.

Smith, 46, who has since parted ways with both UFC and WWE, revealed insider sentiments about Rousey's conduct behind the scenes. "Let me let ya in on something. Ronda, if you are listening, the people behind the scenes — camera people, audio people, people you can push around, people you can bully, and the people you can talk down to can’t stand your f****** ass," Smith disclosed.

According to Smith, individuals working behind the scenes during Rousey's interviews and appearances disliked her behavior. "They were cheering when she got knocked out," Smith added, echoing sentiments from industry insiders. "Those are the people you can be mean to and rude to, and they can’t fight back. Those people couldn’t stand Ronda Rousey."

Smith concluded by dismissing Rousey's portrayal of herself as a victim, emphasizing the impact of her behavior on those she encountered professionally. "Don’t give me this victim s***. Don’t waste my time with it," Smith declared.
