Conor McGregor snubs Khabib, picks Nate Diaz as his toughest opponent

Former UFC champion Conor McGregor notes that Nate Diaz is the toughest opponent that he has faced in his career. McGregor revealed the same during a Twitter interaction with his fans and snubbed former UFC Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor fought Nate Diaz two times in the UFC. In their first outing, it was Nate Diaz that came out on top with a submission win. In the second fight, McGregor levelled terms and got a decision victory.

Interestingly, both the fights happened at Welterweight and McGregor had proposed the idea of a trilogy fight at Lightweight. The Trilogy bout, however, did not materialize although both the fighters have expressed their interest in having a third fight.

As for Khabib, he secured a submission win over Conor McGregor in the lone fight the two fighters had. The rivalry, however, was one of the most intense ones in UFC history and broke multiple records.

Conor McGregor predicts a win for Charles Oliveira at UFC 280

Apart from the claim that Nate Diaz is the toughest opponent that he has faced, McGregor also made his prediction for the UFC 280 main event bout between Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira.

When a fan asked McGregor about his prediction for the UFC lightweight title fight, McGregor noted that Oliveira would take home the win easily.

Oliveira and Makhachev are all set to lock horns at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi and the hype around the fight is at an all-time high as well. A string of UFC fighters has taken sides in the fight which is bound to settle all the debates.
