Four Greatest strikers on the planet: Chatri Sityodtong gives his picks

During a recent post-event press conference for ONE Championship's historic first live on-ground show in the United States, CEO and Chairman Chatri Sityodtong expressed his bullish confidence in the promotion's roster, asserting that they possess some of the best martial artists in the world, particularly highlighting their exceptional strikers.

Sityodtong emphasized that ONE Championship houses an impressive lineup of knockout artists capable of delivering electrifying performances. He specifically mentioned the reigning ONE Muay Thai champions, Rodtang Jitmuangnon in the flyweight division and Jonathan Haggerty in the bantamweight division, as well as bantamweight Muay Thai title contenders Nong-O Hama and Liam Harrison, as prime examples of the promotion's extraordinary talent.

“Obviously, those four names [Rodtang, Jonathan Haggerty, Liam Harrison, Nong-O Hama] are the greatest strikers on the planet, pound for pound, no ifs or buts. I think all those fights are going to end in a KO, so it’s going to be electrifying for the fans,” he said in the interview (h/t Sportskeeda)

The CEO emphasized that any fight featuring these four exceptional strikers is guaranteed to deliver an exhilarating spectacle for fans. Rodtang recently showcased his skills at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, which marked ONE Championship's first live on-ground event in the United States. In an impressive display of dominance, he secured a second-round knockout victory over Mexican fighter Edgar Tabares, retaining his ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title.

Another British striker, Jonathan Haggerty, made waves in April by snatching the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title from long-reigning champion Nong-O with a stunning first-round knockout victory.
