BRAVE Combat Federation is set to return to Slovenia for the second time in 2024 with BRAVE CF 88 on September 28, featuring a blockbuster main event.
The headlining bout of BRAVE CF 88 will see European superstar Erko Jun facing German knockout artist Alexander Wesner for the vacant Light Heavyweight title in what promises to be a historic fight for MMA in Europe.
Erko Jun recently secured a knockout victory over Arab legend Mohammed Said Maalem at BRAVE CF 81 in Slovenia, earning him a shot at the Light Heavyweight title. With the upcoming title fight at BRAVE CF 88, Erko will be preparing for his third consecutive BRAVE CF main event and his third straight BRAVE CF fight in Slovenia.
Erko is on a five-fight winning streak, with both of his BRAVE CF fights so far ending in first-round finishes. He aims to continue his streak and bring the BRAVE CF World title to Europe.
Alexander Wesner, on the other hand, is also on a five-fight winning streak. He has finished four of his last five fights and is a proven finisher with eight of his 10 wins coming via stoppages. The German superstar seeks to disrupt Erko Jun’s streak and secure his place in the history books as the BRAVE Combat Federation champion.
BRAVE CF 88, held in association with WFC, will be one of six events during BRAVE Combat Federation’s 70-day global tour. The event follows BRAVE CF 87 in the Netherlands and will precede BRAVE Combat Federation’s trip to Spain on October 19, solidifying the organization’s position as the industry leader in Europe.
