BRAVE CF 81 Results: Erko Jun earns title shot by stopping Said Maalem

BRAVE Combat Federation's highly anticipated event, BRAVE CF 81, has concluded with a night of electrifying MMA action at the sold-out Hala Tivoli Arena in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on Saturday, April 20, in partnership with WFC. Marking the commencement of the company's 2024 European Tour, the event set the stage for a series of adrenaline-fueled showdowns across the continent, with upcoming stops planned in the Netherlands, Croatia, France, and Germany.

In a headline-grabbing main event, Erko Jun seized victory over Mohammed Said Maalem in the first round, earning himself a shot at the vacant Light Heavyweight title. With a powerful right hand, Jun dropped Maalem before swiftly finishing the fight with a flurry of punches, extending his winning streak to five consecutive victories in BRAVE CF.

Meanwhile, Christian Mach showcased his grappling prowess in the co-main event, securing a dominant unanimous decision win over hometown favorite David Forster. Despite taking the fight on short notice, Mach imposed his will throughout the three rounds, stifling Forster's offense and asserting control.

The action-packed card also featured notable performances, including Gerard Burns' swift victory over Danijel Spoljaric, Domen Drnovsek's impressive submission of Andrian Murug in his professional MMA debut, and Patryk Dubiela's decisive stoppage of Kasim Aras in a Heavyweight showdown.

Additionally, Monika Kucinic continued her ascent in European MMA, submitting Sofiia Bagishvili with an armbar in the third round. Pavel Dailidko delivered a stunning knockout against Valdrin Istrefi, securing his fourth consecutive finish in BRAVE CF.
