Tom Aspinall, the top heavyweight fighter in England, has thrown his full support behind fellow titan Pavel "The Experiment" Dailidko in the lead up to the latter's titanic bout with Slovenia's Luka Podkrajsek at BRAVE CF 70 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, later this month.

In the 'Big Boy' category of BRAVE CF, Dailidko and Podkrajsek are set to square off on April 23 as the most-universal promotion makes its second trip in three years to the capital of Central Europe.

Both athletes will be competing for the BRAVE Combat Federation for the second time; Podkrajsek's debut was successful, as the unbeaten Slovenian earned the WFC Heavyweight title by defeating Viktor Vasic of Bosnia and Herzegovina at BRAVE CF 34/WFC 24 in January 2020.

After facing one of the best Heavyweights in the world, Bahrain's Shamil Gaziev, who gave "The Experiment" only his second career loss and snapped a four-fight win streak with punches in the second round of their BRAVE CF 65 encounter last year, it was a case of seeing better days for "The Experiment."

The Boston, England-based Dailidko, who is desperate to resume his winning ways, has since made some adjustments. He moved part of his training camp from the island's east coast to its west coast, where he has been sparring with Team Kaobon Liverpool's illustrious Heavyweight Aspinall, who is optimistic about his new teammate's prospects.

“So Pav (Pavel) has been training with us for roughly three or four months. He is a good addition to the team. He applies himself, trains hard, and has been working very hard on improving his game. I think he will smash his opponent at BRAVE CF 70,” said Aspinall.

With four victories coming by way of stoppage, audience favourite Podkrajsek will benefit from home-field advantage, and supporters will be thrilled to see their heavyweight champion compete in his native country for the first time since being named the WFC Heavyweight champion.  Lithuania's KO specialist, who has four knockouts in four victories, will try to ruin the Slovenian celebration by killing his first BRAVE CF opponent in what looks to be a "Fight of the Night" contender.

As BRAVE Combat Federation keeps its pledge to further develop the Central European MMA scene, BRAVE CF 70 will once more be co-promoted with the premier regional organisation WFC.
