With the revelation of a probable Bantamweight number-one contender matchup between Jose "Shorty" Torres and Nkosi "The Future" Ndebele taking place in Israel on March 9, 2023, BRAVE CF 70 is shaping up to be a massive fight card.
After both athletes had outstanding outings, Torres and Ndebele will compete with Brad Katona's 135-pound title potentially on the line.
Although "Shorty" has never lost in the BRAVE Combat Federation, he has not always had it easy. In addition to having to deal with his father's loss only days before his BRAVE CF Flyweight title bout, which ultimately fell through, before Covid-19, his title aspirations at 125 pounds were also hampered by weight-cutting concerns.

After moving up to 135 pounds, "Shorty" is now performing at his peak, and he has dominated Jordan's Izzedine Al-Derbani and Ireland's Blaine O'Driscoll at BRAVE CF 49 and 65, respectively.
However, for Ndebele, Torres is the "new fish" in the class. Torres may be a well-known name in international mixed martial arts and a fighter with championship credentials after winning the Titan FC Flyweight and Bantamweight belts. And nobody will be able to ruin "The Futureremarkable "'s run so far. The fifth-ranked BRAVE CF Bantamweight athlete from South Africa is now on a five-fight winning streak and is still unbeaten in the division.
At BRAVE CF 66, he defeated Indonesian star Fajar "Macho Kamacho" by TKO in the second round. This was his most recent triumph. Prior to taking against Fajar, Ndebele was scheduled to compete at BRAVE CF 64 against Matiss Zaharovs of Latvia. However, the Latvian had to withdraw at the last minute owing to health concerns, which was obviously disappointing for Ndebele.
Ndebele was willing to take a chance and battle the unranked BRAVE CF newcomer "Macho Kamacho" in order to keep active and prepared because he was so desperate to restart his 135-pound title pursuit.

He now competes against superstar Torres for a chance at the golden strap at the first-ever BRAVE event in Israel, thanks to his desire to put in the effort.
