BRAVE CF 70: Roman Bogatov vs Nemat Abdrashitov announced for the event

The main event of BRAVE Combat Federation's first-ever trip to Israel will be a significant title match. Roman Bogatov, the current Featherweight world champion, will defend his title against top challenger Nemat Abdrashitov on March 9 in Tel Aviv.

Russian-born Bogatov has made an outstanding start to his career, triumphing over Nurzhan Akishev and Abdulmutalip Gairbekov in his first two fights to qualify for a crack at the vacant Featherweight world championship. He put on a determined effort at BRAVE CF 64 to defeat Tae Kyun Kim and become just the third 145-pound world champion in the organization's history.

In his first attempt at winning the world title, Nemat Abdrashitov will try to unseat Bogatov. The talented Kyrgyz fighter has three victories in as many BRAVE CF fights, all by way of knockout or technical knockout. He made his debut by shockingly knocking out Anzor Abdulkhozhaev in the third round. As Anzor had a ninja choke locked in late in the battle, he was on the point of losing. Nemat successfully defended it, and a few seconds later, Abdulkhozhaev was defeated.

Since then, he has amassed two more sizable victories, the most notable of which being a KO of The Year nomination victory over Marcus Vinicius Costa at BRAVE CF 63. This victory was enough for Abdrashitov to establish himself as the top 145-pound challenger.

On March 9, BRAVE CF 70 will take place in Tel-Aviv, making Israel the 29th country to host a BRAVE Combat Federation event. As no other promotion has visited 29 countries, BRAVE Combat Federation will once again be the most mobile in MMA.

Other noteworthy fights have also been revealed for BRAVE CF's first visit to Israel, including the return of former champion Lucas Mineiro versus opponent Marcel Grabinski and Jose Torres taking on Nkosi Ndebele in a potential Bantamweight top contender fight.
