This Friday, October 28, BRAVE CF 65, the third event in nine days for the BRAVE Combat Federation, will stop the Kingdom of Bahrain in its tracks with 11 electrifying bouts taking over the legendary Khalifa Sports City Arena. All 22 combatants got on the scale for the "fight before the fight"—making weight—the day before fight night.
Hamza Kooheji, a previous world title challenger at bantamweight, made his return to featherweight official by weighing in at 66.1 kg, while Eduardo Mora, a.k.a. "El Burro," walked in slightly below that weight at 65.9 kg for the main fight.
Izzedine Al-Derbani and Jose "Shorty" Torres reaching weight for their Bantamweight matchup confirmed the co-main event as well. Al-Derbani, who weighed in at 61.7kg, has down to Bantamweight for the first time after spending the majority of his career between Lightweight and Featherweight, so it should be an exciting fight. Strangely, "Shorty" (61.6 kg) will be moving up to bantamweight after a productive, albeit troubled, run at flyweight under BRAVE CF.

Only Issa Salem, out of all the athletes competing on tomorrow's fight event, failed to make weight. He entered the ring at 59.4 kg for his 59 kg Catchweight match against Hussain Ayyad, which has no pound allowance (58.7kg). The battle will still go on, but "Boykat" will give Ayyad a 20% cut of his winnings.
