The 10 competitors in BRAVE CF 63 have lost their final few pounds in preparation for the official weigh-ins, and they are now prepared for an action-packed fight night on Wednesday, October 19. This marks the beginning of the return of Kombat Kingdom.
Ismail Naurdiev and Marcin Bandel's battle for the vacant Super Welterweight world title and the honour of being ranked as the best 175-pounder in the world will serve as the main event of the broadcast. The final contestant to weigh in, Naurdiev, appeared at ease as he tipped the scales at 79,3kg (175lbs), while Bandel's weight was just a bit lower at 79kg (174,1lbs).
Brad Katona, the current world champion at bantamweight, will face top rival Gamzat Magomedov in the co-main event in an attempt to successfully defend his championship for the first time. The champion and challenger both weighed in under the 135-pound limit, making them two of the first men to do so. Officially, Katona weighed 134 lbs (60,8 kg), while Magomedov went up to the scales at 134,4 lbs (61kg).
The fight card will also include a huge Super Welterweight contest between Kamal Magomedov and Olli Santalahti, who each weigh 174 pounds or 79 kilogrammes (175,7lbs or 79,7kg).
Athletes are getting ready for the ceremonial weigh-ins, where they will face their opponents one final time before fight night, after demonstrating their true professionalism by making weight on the first try.
