Mohamed Alsameea to face Miran Ramani at BRAVE CF 107 after late opponent change

BRAVE Combat Federation has confirmed a new matchup for BRAVE CF 107, with Bahrain's Mohamed Alsameea set to face Swiss newcomer Miran Ramani in a 59-kilogram catchweight bout on Aug. 1 at Burgas Arena in Burgas, Bulgaria.

The bout was finalized after Alsameea's original opponent, Aleksandar Hristov, withdrew from the event because of an injury. Ramani accepted the fight on short notice and will make his professional debut on one of mixed martial arts' biggest international stages.

Alsameea has emerged as one of Bahrain's brightest prospects since beginning his professional career with BRAVE CF. The heavy-handed striker owns a 5-1 record, with all five of his victories coming by knockout, and has quickly established himself as one of the promotion's most exciting finishers following a successful amateur career.

"I have been preparing for this event for a long time, so I am thankful that I still get the opportunity to compete," Alsameea said. "I appreciate Miran for accepting the fight, especially on short notice. It takes courage to step into this situation, and I am looking forward to sharing the cage with him and giving the fans a great fight."

Ramani enters the contest with everything to gain as he transitions from the amateur ranks to his professional debut. The Swiss prospect believes the opportunity to face one of BRAVE CF's fastest-rising talents is the perfect stage to announce himself.

"This is exactly the kind of opportunity I have been working toward," Ramani said. "Making my professional debut on a BRAVE CF stage is an honor, and I am ready for whatever awaits me. I respect Mohamed Alsameea, but I believe in my preparation and I intend to prove that I belong among the sport's top prospects."

The matchup adds another intriguing contest to the BRAVE CF 107 card, with Alsameea aiming to continue his climb through the promotion's ranks while Ramani looks to make an immediate impression in his first professional appearance.
