BRAVE CF 100 Results: Nikolić Defeats Fan Favourite Kooheji, Mokaev wins Title

BRAVE Combat Federation marked a historic milestone Friday as the Middle East’s only global MMA organization celebrated its 100th event at Khalifa Sports City. The landmark card delivered a full-circle moment for BRAVE CF, which launched in Bahrain in 2016.

The event originally featured nine bouts, but the interim Super Welterweight title fight between Mohammad Fakhreddine and Alex Lohoré was removed during Thursday’s weigh-ins. Despite the late change, the remaining eight fights carried the night with two championship bouts headlining the card.

In the main event, Bantamweight champion Borislav Nikolić successfully defended his title against Bahraini fan favorite Hamza Kooheji. Nikolić controlled the pace throughout the fight before stopping Kooheji with fourth-round strikes, silencing the packed arena and cementing himself as one of the top bantamweights in the sport.

The co-main event crowned the first BRAVE CF Flyweight champion, as Muhammad “The Punisher” Mokaev overwhelmed Gerard “The Animal” Burns with a second-round TKO. Mokaev noted afterward that he would be watching the bantamweight title picture closely, hinting at a potential champion-versus-champion clash in 2026.

During the event, Lohoré was unexpectedly presented with the interim Super Welterweight belt. The Frenchman welcomed the moment and stated he is ready to defend or unify the title with champion Luiz Cado as early as December or January.

BRAVE CF 100 showcased rising prospects and seasoned athletes in front of a sold-out crowd, delivering a night the promotion and Bahrain’s MMA community will remember. BRAVE CF 101: KHK Legacy II is set to follow on Sunday at the same venue.
