What happened when some of the scariest people try to bite into chillies? Well, Blockasset recently released an advertisement which answered the question.

A long list of UFC and PFL athletes were featured in the advertisement including Alex Pereira, Dakota Ditcheva, and Rafael Fiziev among others. You can see the fighters tearing up as they bite on the chilly.

The video was made as part of the collaboration between Blockasset and Chiliz. A blockchain service provider with a focus on the sports and entertainment sectors, Chiliz was formed in 2018.

The new Layer-1 blockchain from sports fan token company Chiliz, Chiliz Chain 2.0, is now interoperable with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, according to an announcement made today by athlete NFT platform Blockasset.

Chiliz, the owner of the Socios fan token and rewards programme, will make an equity investment in Blockasset in addition to the growth. In addition to the biggest soccer leagues in the world, Socios collaborates with more than 170 partners, including teams from the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLS. The funding was provided by Chiliz Labs, a $50 million incubator that Chiliz and the venture capital firm Jump Crypto established to encourage blockchain initiatives in the sports industry.
