The much-awaited Road to UFC lightweight final between Indian MMA fighter Anshul Jubli and Indonesia’s Jeka Saragih is all set to happen on 5 February 2023 in Las Vegas.

The fight will happen on the preliminary card of UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Spivac.

Anshul Jubli had progressed into the Road to UFC finals with a win over South Korea’s Kyung Pyo Kim back in October. Anshul managed to outclass Kim after a three-round battle and booked his place in the finals. Before this, the Indian had received a walkover in the quarter-finals when his opponent Sho Patrick Usami withdrew from the fight due to weight management issues.

Anshul, interestingly, has been undefeated in his professional and Amateur MMA career. He is now 7-0 in his pro-MMA career and will be looking to build on the same when he fights Saragih.

On the other hand, Jeka Saragih comes into the fight on the back of an impressive knockout win in the semi-finals. Jeka knocked out Ki Wonbin in the semi-finals and prior to this, he had secured a win over India’s Pawan Maan Singh in the quarter-finals as well.

Jeka will go into the fight with a professional MMA record of 13-2 to his name and will be looking to fly the Indonesian flag high inside the UFC octagon.
