Aline Pereira, who is the sister of former UFC Middleweight champion Alex Pereira, is all set to make her MMA return in June.

The news was revealed by Aline herself last day on social media and it was noted that Aline will be making her return at LFA 160 on 16 June 2023. Aline will be competing in the Flyweight division and her opponent will be Chelsea Conner.

The event will happen at the Owensbord Sports Center in Owensbord and below is what Aline noted about the event.

“Very happy to announce my next fight guys. I count on everyone's support,” she wrote.

This will be the second MMA fight for Aline who had earlier made her MMA debut at LFA 147. The fight, which happened back in November 2022 saw Aline going up against Helen Peralta.

Although the fight went the complete distance, the fight was ruled in favour of Helen who handed a debut loss for Aline.

Prior to her run in MMA, Aline had a run-in kickboxing. She is 6-2 in kickboxing and holds a record of 2-1 in Glory where Alex Pereira had a memorable run.

Alex Pereira, before his move to the UFC, had fought in LFA as well. Although the Brazilian only fought once in LFA, he secured a first-round KO win against Thomas Powell.

After this, Alex went to the UFC and became the UFC Middleweight champion by dethroning Israel Adesanya. Adesanya, however, recaptured the title recently and Alex subsequently announced that he will be moving to Light Heavyweight next.
