Aliff Sor Dechapan Stops Sam-A Gaiyanghadao To Seal ONE Interim World Title

Aliff Sor Dechapan walked into The Inner Circle 23 as Malaysia's brightest Muay Thai hope and walked out as the country's first-ever ONE world champion — stopping the immortal Sam-A Gaiyanghadao via KO at 1:09 of round five to claim the ONE Interim Strawweight Muay Thai World Title.

Sam-A came with experience. Aliff came with everything else. The 22-year-old controlled the opening rounds with footwork and counters before the legend found his rhythm in round two with trademark left kicks. The seven-time Muay Thai World Champion's signature body kick echoed through Lumpinee Stadium with every connection in their bantamweight kickboxing bout, before three head kicks buckled Cisneros's legs in the final round. Unanimous decision. Unbeaten in ONE kickboxing at 4-0. Record: 252-44.

Pompet PongSuphan PK promised an epic main event war at ONE Friday Fights 163. He delivered one — and then stopped it. The flyweight Muay Thai contender dropped Nat Khat Min four times across three rounds of breathtaking chaos before a knee forced the TKO at 2:34 of round three. Record: 110-48. The US$100,000 contract conversation starts now.

Mongkoldetlek Por Pim-on had a message for the bantamweight Muay Thai division. He delivered it in ninety seconds of round two. After flooring Utkirzhon Khamidov with a liver kick in round one, the former Lumpinee champion dragged him into the clinch in round two and unleashed a barrage of knees that brought the TKO at 2:00.
